Each page is a forecast Skew-T / log-p diagram stepped through the run. These are model soundings, not observations; for observed profiles use the University of Wyoming upper-air database.
- North West and Gauteng (d03, 3 km): Convection-permitting soundings from the 3 km nest. This is the domain to use for thunderstorm timing and mode over the Highveld.
- South Africa and neighbours (d02, 9 km): Soundings from the 9 km outer domain, covering the South African upper-air network plus Maputo, Maseru and Mbabane.
- Initialised from public GFS analyses; discard the first hour of each run for spin-up.
